She was predeceased by: her parents, Willard Ennis and Lillian Ennis (Steinhauser); her husband James Alvey; her daughters, Sandy Mills and Sherrie Wagner; and her daughter-in-law Bette Jo Alvey.

She is survived by: her children, Becky Alvey, Patty Carder, Steve Alvey (Diane), Jim Alvey and Bob Alvey (Patty); and her siblings, Jane Austin and Bob Ennis. She is also survived by 11 grandchildren and 10 great grandchildren.
