He is survived by: his wife Wilma McKenzie (Henze); his children, Erik McKenzie and Conjetta McKenzie Schoon (Ryan); his grandchildren, Eliza Finn and Jaxson McKenzie; his siblings' children, Kadriene McKenzie and Michael McKenzie (Jessica); and his siblings, Thomas, Gary, Michael, Sr., Linda Afshari and Rehna Thurber. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
