He was predeceased by: his parents, Charles H. Koring and Blanche Koring (Armor); his wife Betty Jean Koring (Wood); his granddaughter Candace McManaway; and his siblings, Marcella Byers and Donnie Koring.

He is survived by: his children, David Koring (Donna), Deborah Crowley (Butch) and Denise Koring; his grandchildren, Stephanie Koch (Gary), Dawn Plumlee (Dennis) and Jonathan Koring (Nicole); his great grandchildren, Alyssa Straub (Damon), Blake Koch, Jake Koch, Dylan Koring and Logan Koring; and his sister Charlotte Calderone. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.

Memorial contributions may be made to the Alzheimer's Association, 701 N. Weinbach Ave., #510, Evansville, IN 47711.
