In bidding Deanna adieu, let us not mourn the silence that now fills the spaces Deanna once occupied, but rather celebrate the vibrant colors she painted upon the canvas of our lives. For while she may have departed from this earthly realm, her spirit remains a beacon of light, guiding us through the darkest of nights.

She was predeceased by : her parents, Genevieve Runau and Hollister. She is survived by : her sons, Sam Leathers (Julie), Scott Leathers, Gary Leathers and Kyle Leathers (Anna Maria Florez); and her grandchildren, Crystal Jones, Tai Leathers, Sam Leathers, Jr. and Lyric Leathers. She is also survived by 4 great-grandchildren.

Visitation was held on Thursday, April 25th 2024 from 3:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Ziemer Funeral Home Central Chapel (626 N First Ave, Evansville, IN 47710). A funeral service was held on Friday, April 26th 2024 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the same location. A burial was held on Friday, April 26th 2024 at 11:30 PM at the Tupman Cemetery (1601 N Red Bank Rd, Evansville, IN 47720).
