She was predeceased by: her parents, Howard Hatfield and Edna Hatfield (Hare); her husband William J. Helm; her siblings, Dorothy Barfield, Mary Hahn, Howard Hatfield, Gary Hatfield and Marion Hatfield; and her grandchildren, Rance Ham and Micah Ham.

She is survived by: her children, Billie White (Larry), Karen Ham, Roger Helm and Alan Helm (Norma); her sister Sandra Ward; and her grandchildren, Larry White, Jr., Seth Ham, Beth Bivens, Gabrielle Ham, Tina Winters, Preston Helm, Mathew Helm and Katie Frey.

Memorial contributions may be made to St. Boniface Catholic Church, 418 N. Wabash Ave, Evansville, IN 47712.
