He was predeceased by: his parents, John L. Marrs and Viola Marrs (Beckham); his daughter Lisa Kaye Weyer; his sister Velma; his brother-in-law Harold Miller; his brother James; his sister-in-law Dorothy Marrs; his grandson Brad Hinderliter; and his siblings-in-law, Marilyn Miller, Melvin Anson, John Miller, Larry and Mary Jo Barnes.

He is survived by: his wife Kathleen Rose Marrs (Miller); his daughters, Karen Hinderliter (Keith) of Evansville and Cynthia "Cindy" Marrs of Evansville; his sisters-in-law, Jean Anson of Evansville and Jan Miller of Florissant, MO; and his grandchildren, Jamie McCallister (Eric), Shanna Messersmith, Katie Mathew (Steve), Audrey Niemeier (Andy), Stephanie Morrow, Jeff Weyer (Kirstin) and Anthony Laufer. He is also survived by twenty great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
