She was predeceased by: her parents, Lawrence Patton and Alice Patton (Brazier); her husband Bill Downen (Bill); and her siblings, Bernice Patton, Mary Jane Thomas and Lawrence "Eddie" Patton.

She is survived by: her children, Debbie Medlin (Butch) of Evansville and Mike Downen of Evansville; her grandchildren, Ashlee McCure (Matt), Michelle Rehbein, Alicia Gibbons (Wade) and Abby Downen; her great grandchildren, Hayes McCure, Tyler, Shane Hall, Will J., Jacob Gibbons and Kennady Reed; her great great grandchildren, Kason and Kamden Hall; her siblings, Jerry Patton of Shawneetown and Linda Boone (Bob) of Shawneetown; and her siblings-in-law, Bob Downen of Shawneetown, Don Downen (Amy) of Ridgway, Linda Patton of Shawneetown, Judy Downen of Omaha, Lyla "Sissy" Downen of Omaha, Carl Thomas and Agnes Patton.

Due to Covid-19 Restrictions, social distancing and masks are recommended.

In lieu of flowers the family asks that donations can be made to Asbury Cemetery.
