She was predeceased by: her parents, Robert Simpers and Willee Benice Simpers (Spaulding); her former husband Howard Peter Frederick, Jr.; and her siblings, Millie Remnick and Robert Simpers.

She is survived by: her husband Pete; her children, Rebecca McDonough (James) of Alexandria, VA, Peter Frederick of Evansville, IN, Noel Frederick (Anne) of Goldbar, WA, Samuel Frederick (Judy) of Evansville, IN and Daniel Frederick (Jolie) of Clarksville, TN; her brother-in-law Bill Frederick (Radene) of Sacramento, CA; her grandchildren, Alex, Michelle, Rachel, Meredith, Jimmy and Zion; and her great grandchildren, Brynn and Marcus.
