It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Elmer William Halwes Jr. (Evansville, Indiana), who passed away on February 8, 2021, at the age of 91, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his wife Doris Jean Sanders Halwes; his son Joel T. Halwes; and his brother-in-law James Sanders. He is survived by: his sons, Jeff Halwes (Lan) and Jon Halwes; and his stepgranddaughter Hebing Wang.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Vanderburgh Humane Society.
