With profound sadness, we say goodbye to Evelyn L. Bernard (Evansville, Indiana), whose vibrant spirit touched the lives of many. She was predeceased by: her parents, Walter Wildt and Augusta Wildt (Bergdorf); her husband Bob Bernard; her siblings, Herbert, Walter, Victor Wildt, Lillian Smoker, Marguerite Grisham, Edna Winiger and Helen Thomas; and her daughter-in-law Ann Bernard.

She is survived by: her sons, John R. Bernard, Jr. (Mary Ann), Dane T. Bernard (Kathy) and Gary D. Bernard (Paula); her grandchildren, Philip, Eddie Bernard (Kristy Boyer), Lenore Engler (Ray), Marysa Ethridge (Aaron), Allyson Dawson (Mike), Katy Petrosky (Brian), Rhiannon and Megan Bernard; her stepgrandchildren, Ryan and Lesley Zingery; and her great grandchildren, Kyle, Elyse Dawson, Jude and Zeke Petrosky.
