It is with great sadness that we announce the death of George Edward Bennett Jr. (Evansville, Indiana), who passed away on March 12, 2024, at the age of 76, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, George E. Bennett, Sr. and Ophelia Bennett-Gray (Nealy); his brothers, Rodney Bennett and Dennis Paul Bennett; his in-laws, Robert Miller, Sr. and Mary Miller; and his siblings-in-law, Darin Keith Miller, Vennetta Mitchell and Donald Miller.
He is survived by: his wife Althea Mitchell Young; his sisters, Carol Ann Bennett, Cynthia Bennett-Jackson (George) and Constance Bennett; and his daughter Michele Keyes-Coates.
