With heavy hearts, we announce the death of George William Nix Jr. (Evansville, Indiana), who passed away on June 29, 2021 at the age of 86. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his wife Dawn L. Nix; and his sisters, Norma Jean Shock and Janice Carol Carwele. He is survived by: his children, Darrell Nix and Pam Heyer; his foster children, Scott, Martine and Joshua Saye; his brother Thomas Nix (Betty); his stepdaughter Jaime Malotte (Tim); and his grandchildren, Brianna Saye, Melody Freeman, Terry, Jessica Roach, Shae and Janelle Malotte.

Memorial contributions may be made to the Vanderburgh County Humane Society.
