He was predeceased by: his parents, Basil Hunter and Mary Hunter (Allen); his son Jeffrey Allen Hunter; and his brother Robert Hunter. He is survived by: his wife Dorothy Wanders; his son Michael (Evelyn); his granddaughter Beth; and his brother Doug Hunter. He is also survived by nieces, nephews and cousins.

Memorial contributions can be made to the R-Men's Club or the Alzheimer's Association.
