It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Hattie Mae Flemming (Evansville, Indiana), who passed away on May 5, 2022, at the age of 89, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her father Albert Sims; her husband Thomas Flemming; her sons, Oties and Frank; and her granddaughter Cheriengna Chantell Rhoades.
She is survived by: her children, Tommie Flemming-Starks, Mattie Duerson (Jerry), Mary Ann Hale, Kathleen "Katie" Flemming, Carolyn Flemming, Michael Flemming (Cheryl Joy), Kenneth, Fan and Edward; her brother John Sims; her sisters-in-law, Maggie Mae Sims of Sharon, MS and Arnisha Fleming (Hazel) of Jackson, MS; her daughter-in-law Sharon Flemming; and her grandchild Fifty. She is also survived by Fifty-Nine great-grandchildren; and one great-great-grandchild.
