Sandefur; his children, Jennifer A. Gentry and Herman E. Gentry III; his daughter-in-law Kaitlin C. Logsdon; and his grandchildren, Matthew W. Carver, Herman E. Gentry IV "Boogie", Cohen P. Gentry, Lillian E. Lockwood and Morgan L. Gentry.

Memorial contributions may be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital.
