He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, William W. Simmons and Beatrice Simmons (Hughes); his wife Mary Simmons (Trottier); his children, Michael Simmons (Mary Anne), Rita Meeks (Larry), Lisa Veeck (Danny), Mark Simmons and Sandra Simmons; his grandchildren, Danny Scott Veeck, Christen Angermeier, April Angermeier, Jamie Head, Valerie Meeks, Laura Simmons, Nicole Simmons, Jessica Stephens and Ryan Hughes Simmons; and his great grandchildren, Bridgette, Brayden, Hannah, Brooklynn, Liam and Mila.
