He was predeceased by: his parents, Attis McGillem and Ethel McGillem (Collins); his stepson Mike Davis; and his niece Mary Ann Robling. He is survived by: his wife Kathryn Fern McGillem (Davis) of Evansville, IN; his son Dennis McGillem (Cindy) of Evansville, IN; and his granddaughter Keri Davenport. He is also survived by three great-grandchildren.

Due to Covid-19 no visitation will be held.
