He was predeceased by: his parents, James Emmitt and Alta Duncan (Morton); and his brothers, Maurice "Butch" Duncan and Richard "Dick" Duncan. He is survived by: his wife Paula Duncan (Rodenberg); his children, Kristina Kurtz (Scott) and James; his siblings, Janette Gries (Ray), Ronnie Duncan (Doris) and Randy Duncan (Kimberly); his sister-in-law Louise Duncan; his grandchildren, Emily Moorhead (Bryan), Dalton Neinaber (Payton), Jesse Kemper (Taylor), Micah Kemper, Dakota Barnes and Coral Kurtz; and his great grandchildren, Kennedy, Grant, Weston, Anniston, Jordan, Mya and Lucas.
