James Lawson Chapman Obituary
With heavy hearts, we announce the death of James Lawson Chapman of Evansville, Indiana, who passed away on June 8, 2025 at the age of 57. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his father Roger Dennis Chapman; his grandparents, Irene, Vernon Chapman, Dee Dee and George DuVall; his father-in-law George Geiser; and his nephew Dennis McLaughlin.
He is survived by: his mother Georgia Chapman (DuVall); his family, Nova Polymers and Jim; his wife Jennifer Chapman (Geiser); his children, Jordan (Colleen Chapman) and Abbey (Dylan Klipsch); his sisters, Kathy Hirsch (Bob) and Denise Bartholomew; his grandchildren, Graham Lawson, Evelyn Louise, Margot Ann Chapman and Henry William Klipsch; his mother-in-law Betty Geiser; and his sister-in-law Holly Rose.
Visitation will be held on Friday, June 13th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 7:00 PM and on Saturday, June 14th 2025 from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM. A Mass of Christian burial will be held on Saturday, June 14th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the St. Agnes Catholic Church (1600 Glendale Ave, Evansville, IN 47712).
