He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Everet Morris and Leota Morris (Daniel); his children, Carol Matherly (Lyman) of Evansville, IN, Dan Morris of Newburgh, IN, Bob Morris (Sheila) of Washington, IL, Mike Morris (Terri) of Newburgh, IN, Laura Wathen (Tim) of Evansville, IN and Rick Morris (Jan) of Evansville, IN; his son-in-law Marlin Briles; his wife Margaret C. Morris (Elsfelder); and his daughter Elaine Briles. He was also cherished by 20 grandchildren; 23 great grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews.
