He was predeceased by: his parents, Ralph Petty and Virginia Petty (Melton); his daughter Jamie Lynn Petty (Sarah); and his sister-in-law Becky Petty. He is survived by: his wife Darlene Petty (Price); his children, Erica Morrison (Nick) and Michael Petty; his brothers, Mark Petty (Cindy), Jerry Petty and Norman Petty; his sisters-in-law, Denise Hudson and Betty Petty; and his parents-in-law, Jim and Pearl Price. He is also survived by four grandkids; one great grandkid.
Visitation was held on Saturday, May 31st 2025 from 1:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the Boone Funeral Home East Chapel, Washington Avenue (5330 Washington Ave, Evansville, IN 47715). A celebration of life was held on Saturday, May 31st 2025 at 3:00 PM at the same location.
