He was predeceased by: his parents, Francis Riger and Vivian Riger (Allen); his former wife Patricia Riger; and his siblings, Anna Marie Bagby, Barbara Gilles, Betty Elpers, Janet Grammer, John Riger and Joseph Riger.
He is survived by: his wife Marilyn Riger (Decker); his children, Bernadine Goldman (Bryant), Angela Burkeen (Kevin) and Robert Riger; his sister Elizabeth Ruder; his grandchildren, Marissa Goldman, Patrick Goldman, Vanessa Blankenship, Alicia Strickland and Kyle Riger; and his great grandchildren, Sophia, Savannah, Maddelyn, Gracelyn, Rosalee, Evelyn Marie and Vivian.
Due to the pandemic, funeral services will be private.
