She is survived by: her husband John Joseph Stanton; her stepson John Jay Stanton; and her brother Gary Lauderdale (Gayle) of Isle. She is also survived by four grandchildren, one great granddaughter; cousins, aunts, nieces and nephews.

In lieu of flowers family would like to have memorial contributions made to Vanderburgh County Humane Society, 400 Millner Industrial Drive, Evansville, IN 47710.
