It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Jean D. Johnson of Evansville, Indiana, who passed away on December 16, 2020, at the age of 93, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Carl Ritzert and Cora Ritzert (Ising); her husband Joseph S. Johnson; and her brother William Ritzert. She is survived by: her children, Janice Wronowski (Wally) of Evansville, IN, Jeffery A. Johnson (Dana) of Evansville, IN, Joseph M. Johnson (Camille) of Evansville, IN and John A. Johnson (Jill) of Evansville, IN; and her sister-in-law Anna Ritzert of Evansville, IN. She is also survived by many grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

Memorial contributions may be made to St. Joseph Catholic Church in Vanderburgh County or German Township Fire Department, 8400 Saint Wendel Rd., Evansville, IN 47720.
