He was predeceased by: his mother Joyce June Werkmeister (Sanderson); his brother Rick Werkmeister; and his father-in-law Vaughn Myers. He is survived by: his father Richard Werkmeister Sr.; his wife Dawn Werkmeister (Myers); his daughter Heather Goebel; his grandsons, Grant and Hudson Goebel; his son Kyle Werkmeister (Kristin); his grandchildren, Alaina and Archer Werkmeister; his brother Stacey Werkmeister; and his mother-in-law Betty Jo Wargel.
