He was predeceased by: his parents, Harold Peckenpaugh and Alma Peckenpaugh (Mueller); his wife Mildred Peckenpaugh (Bockelman); his son Michael Peckenpaugh; his siblings, Betty Downey and Wesley Peckenpaugh; and his grandson Tanner Peckenpaugh.

He is survived by: his daughter Susan; his son-in-law Shawn Thomas of Evansville; his son Robert Peckenpaugh of Indianapolis, IN; his brother Larry; his sister-in-law Carol Peckenpaugh of Evansville; and his grandchildren, Marissa Peckenpaugh, Blain Thomas, Aiden Thomas and Josie Thomas.

Memorial contributions may be made to St. James West United Methodist Church, 3111 Hillcrest Terrace, Evansville, IN 47712.
