It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Jesus Zapien of Evansville, Indiana, born in San Antonio, Texas, who passed away on May 8, 2025, at the age of 67, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
As Jesus departs from our midst, his spirit ascends to join the cosmic dance of stars, a shimmering constellation of memories that will forever grace the night sky of the hearts of those who loved Jesus. Though Jesus may no longer walk beside us, his legacy lives on — a testament to the enduring power of love to transcend the boundaries of time and space.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Jose Iraizoz and Luz Iraizoz (Torres). He is survived by: his son Andrew "Drew" Zapien of Evansville, IN; and his sister Veronica Iraizoz-Sanchez (Adrian). He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
