He was predeceased by: his father Johnny Hughes; his grandparents, Chester and Blanche Dunbar; and his son Alan Lamar Hughes. He is survived by: his children, Jon, Brenique N. Hughes Dukes (Evansville), Jordan M. Hughes (Newburgh), Davon T. M. Stum of Macon, GA and Tavish K. Stum (Atlanta); his mother LaQuita M. Northington (Indianapolis); his grandmother Naomi E. Long (Evansville); and his siblings, Bonnietta M. Hughes, Blanchie Hughes, Patricia Hughes (Nashville), David Sawyers (Indianapolis) and Anthony D. Hughes (Nashville). He is also survived by 4 grandchildren; and a host of aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
