It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Jose Alberto Brito-Augustia (Evansville, Indiana), who passed away on June 2, 2025, at the age of 44, leaving to mourn family and friends. As we bid adieu to Jose Alberto's earthly form, let us not dwell on the void left in his wake, but rather celebrate the legacy of love and inspiration Jose Alberto has bequeathed us. For though he may have departed from our sight, his spirit remains a timeless beacon, guiding loved ones through the labyrinth of life's journey.
He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Rosaura Angustia and Antonio Brito; his siblings, Rafael Brito, Luis Manuel Angustia and Mery Núñez Angustia; his wife Amarilis E. Ovalles; and his daughter Katheryn Lynn Brito.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, June 11th 2025 from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM at the R. Mason Brothers Memorial Chapel (1001 Lincoln Ave, Evansville, IN 47714). A funeral service was held on Wednesday, June 11th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the same location. A burial was held on Wednesday, June 11th 2025 at the Oak Hill Cemetery (1400 E Virginia St, Evansville, IN 47711).
