Judith Grusin Cawn Rattner Obituary
With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Judith Grusin Cawn Rattner (Evansville, Indiana), born in Henderson, Kentucky, who passed away on February 20, 2021. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Judith Grusin Cawn Rattner to pay them a last tribute.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Samuel Grusin and Jennye Grusin; her husbands, Jimmy Cawn and Morris Rattner (Bud); her son-in-law Bryan Merrell; and her sister Phyllis Grusin Weinstein.
She is survived by: her former husband Paul Cawn (Jimmy); her children, Susan Harwood (David), Gary Cawn, Steven Cawn (Sarah), Mary Ann Merrell, Dan Rattner (Martha), Ken Rattner (Betty) and Jerry Rattner (Eileen); and her nieces, Lynn Raviv and Janie Feldman. She is also survived by 14 grandchildren, 10 great-grandchildren.
She continued her volunteerism throughout her retirement and greatly enjoyed having the distinction of being the oldest active volunteer at Heska Amuna, a synagogue she attended faithfully each week for Shabbat services until COVID-19 prevented her from being able to attend.
