It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Karen M Horton of Evansville, Indiana, who passed away on January 2, 2021, at the age of 59, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Clarence A. and Rosa M. Horton, Sr.; and her son Billy Joe McGill. She is survived by: her husband Jim Mercer; her children, Jennifer Lamell (Kenny) and Jerry McGill (Heather); her grandchildren, Kelly Baker, Joshua Baker, Kenny Lamell, IV, Izik McGill, Donald Wade, Cindy Wade, Arabelle and Acelyn Nelson; and her siblings, Susan Golden (Mike) and Clarence Horton, Jr. (Laura Will).

In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the family to help with expenses.
