It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Kathryn A. Smith (Evansville, Indiana), who passed away on July 11, 2021, at the age of 88, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Weston Dixon-Arnett and Lucille Dixon-Arnett; her husband Samuel Smith; and her siblings, Kelner Jackson, Weston Arnett, Mae Helen Madison, Norman Arnett, Ruth Harvey and Raymond Arnett.
She is survived by: her children, Cynthia, Janice Jackson (Earl), Diane Bradshaw, Carmalita McFarland (John Earl), Brian Smith and Samuel Smith (Kim); and her close friends, Betty Porter and Ollie Craig. She is also survived by 9 grandchildren, 17 great-grandchildren, 7 great-great grandchildren; a host of nieces, nephews, extended family and friends.
