She was predeceased by: her parents, Myrtle Plumlee (Sigler) and Thurman Plumlee; her husband Raymond Shaffer, Jr.; her son Jeff Shaffer; and her siblings, Jimmy, Lloyd Plumlee and Pat Datillo.

She is survived by: her children, Tom Shaffer of Richland, IN and Sandy Holzmeyer (Keith) of Chandler, IN; and her sister Phyllis Sanders of Evansville. She is also survived by 8 grandchildren; 14 great grandchildren; 4 great great grandchildren.
