He was predeceased by: his parents, Victor Gerike and Lila A. Gerike (Bartlett); his sister Alice Lunnenberg; and his pet Rudy. He is survived by: his wife Marcy B. Gerike (Simons); his children, Melissa K. Cozart (Jonathan) and Micah Gerike; his siblings, Roxanne Heiliger (Mike), Rev. Henry Gerike, Tim Gerike (Susan) and Paul Gerike (Ruth); his brother-in-law Rev. Allen Lunnenberg; and his grandchildren, Jace and Luke Cozart. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
