Volkert of Evansville, Indiana, born in Elizabethtown, Illinois, who passed away on February 7, 2021, at the age of 82, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Charles Volkert and Mary Agnes Volkert (Forwe); and his brothers, Bernard, Mark, Omer and Adolph Volkert.

He is survived by: his sister Virginia Angermeier (Walter) of Indianapolis, IN. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
