He was predeceased by: his parents, Maurice Prather and Nellie Prather (Beasley); and his sisters, Eleanor, Evelyn, Mary and Norma.
He is survived by: his stepdaughter Linda Howard (Rick); his stepgrandchildren, Heber Howard and Perry Howard; his stepdaughter Lisa Castlebury (Michael Land); his siblings, Bill Prather (Marna) and Nancy Prather (Gary Stage); his nephew Alexander Prather-Stage; and his siblings, Janice Heskett (Larry), Chester Cooper (Mary), Sherry Wooley, Larry Cooper, Richard Cooper (Sandy), Dean Cooper and Ann King. He is also survived by many great nephews and nieces and other family and friends.
