It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Melvin L. Gaffney of Evansville, Indiana, who passed away on March 23, 2021, at the age of 91, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Earl Gaffney and Mary Gaffney (Roy). He is survived by: his wife Diane Gaffney (Butler) of Evansville, IN; his children, Mary Gaffney (Wayne Cardwell) of Evansville, IN, Phillip Gaffney (Lesa) of Evansville, IN and Gary Gaffney (Jan) of Houston, TX; his grandchildren, Megan Gaffney, Addison Abbott, Alli Abbott, John Abbott, Caroline Barnhill and Brett Paul (Dan); and his pet Buttons. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.

Due to COVID-19 masks will be required by attendees.

Memorial contributions may be made to Bethlehem United Church of Christ.
