He was predeceased by: his parents, Earl Harold and Emma Snapp (Caughran); his wife Pauline "Polly" Snapp (Travis); and his granddaughter Megan Snapp. He is survived by: his children, Lynda Reid (Bob) of Evansville and David Snapp (Shelley) of Albion, Illinois; his grandchildren, Amanda Michel (Andrew) of Evansville, Joy Gifford (James) of Albion, Laura Merten (Patrick) of Evansville, Sam Reid (Lindsay) of Evansville and Emily Brawner (Joseph) of Evansville; and his sister-in-law Barbara Bowles (Bill) of Fairland. He is also survived by his nephews and nieces.
