He was predeceased by: his parents, Henrietta Beckwith, (Smith) and Raymond F. Beckwith, Sr.; his former wife Dorothy Beckwith; and his brother Robert Beckwith. He is survived by: his wife Joan Beckwith (Halter); his children, Freddie Beckwith (Jami), Joe Beckwith (Mary), Julie Merkel (Matt) and Mary Dishman (Brad); and his grandchildren, Caroline Merkel, Isabelle Merkel, Abigail Beckwith, Sara Beckwith, Morgan Dishman and Reece Dishman.
