With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Rita A. Koressel of Evansville, Indiana, born in Haubstadt, Indiana, who passed away on December 30, 2020 at the age of 91. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Margaret Halbig (Wissing) and Oscar Halbig; her husband James Koressel; and her siblings, Martha Colvin and Richard Halbig.

She is survived by: her children, Linda Burns (David), Barb VanBlaricum (Larry), Carolyn Oglesby, Ken Koressel and Keith Koressel (Janet); and her grandchildren, Emily, John McCain, Erin Tranbarger, Lori Quijada, Sam Nunning, Madison Oglesby and Jordan Koressel. She is also survived by 8 great grandchildren.
