Robert August Wessel Obituary

It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Robert August Wessel of Evansville, Indiana, who passed away on February 1, 2021, at the age of 89, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Fred Wessel and Minnie Wessel (Willingham); his brother Fred Wessel, Jr.; his nephew Mark Wessel; his brother Michael; and his siblings-in-law, Deanna Gerard and David Gerard.

He is survived by: his wife Judith Wessel (Gerard); his daughter Beth Prosser (Mark) of Greensboro, GA; his granddaughters, Sara Davis (Nick) of Plano, TX, Erin Maher (Jordan) of Lexington, KY and Ally Prosser of Bentonville, AR; his great grandchild Parker Davis; his brother Gary; and his sisters-in-law, Mary Ellen Gerard of New Harmony, IN and Nancy Gerard of Austin, TX. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.

Due to the pandemic, services will be private.
