He is survived by: his daughter Brittany Lynn Gerding; his brothers, Carl Phillip Gerding (Shawnna) and Larry Ray Gerding (Deanna); his nephew Brian Gerding (Megan); his siblings' children, Kate Foutz, Dan Gerding and Ben Gerding; his cousin Kenny Hardin (Jamie); and also, Claire, Marley Snow (Brandon) and Mackenzie Hardin.
