He was predeceased by: his parents, Rodney Brown and Susannah Brown (Seager); his son Aaron Lee Brown; his sister Helen; his brother-in-law John Stephans; his sister Susie; his brother-in-law Morgan Jones; and his siblings, Jo Ann Turpen and Joe Schneider Jr. A.

He is survived by: his children, Dr. Randall K. Brown (Sandy) of Evansville, Melinda Gill (Jerry) of Auburn, IN and Alissa Brown of Evansville; his grandchildren, Jamie Knollman, Zach Knollman (Jayme), Kelsey, Keaton, Jordan, Parker Gill and Devyn Gordon; and his great grandchildren, Ella, Makena, Hudson, Sawyer and Rory. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made to the Vanderburgh County Humane Society to honor Rodney's love for pets.
