He was predeceased by: his parents, Daniel H. Barnes and Thelma M. Barnes (Parks); his brother Bruce Barnes; and his granddaughter Alexa Barnes. He is survived by: his children, Angela Fellwock (Tim), Doug Barnes (Barrie Hughes) and Eric Barnes (Tracy); his granddaughter Emma Barnes; his close friend Phyllis Wendt; his sister-in-law Sharon Barnes; and his nieces, Heather Soliday (Stephen) and Allison Mize (Rowdy).
