She was predeceased by: her parents, James DeSpain and Austa DeSpain (Snider); her husband James Cunningham; and her siblings, Geraldine Thomason, Myrtle Stolzy, Lura Mae Alvey, Carl, James Otis, James Walter and James Joseph DeSpain.

She is survived by: her son Paul of Henderson, KY; her nephew Tim Bishop (Judy); her great-niece Sarah Bishop; and her great-nephews, Matt and Mike Bishop.
