She was predeceased by: her parents, Arthur and Mamie Waddy, Sr. (Jones); the father of her children Gary Stewart; her son Eric Wayne Stewart; her great grandchild Duke Stewart; her siblings, Emma Norman, Sharon Waddy, James Leemon Waddy and Gregory Waddy; and her siblings' children, Nicole Anderson and Alan Johnson.

She is survived by: her sons, Gary DeMarco Stewart, Troy Stewart and Alex Stewart (Janice); her grandchildren, Seth Rainey (Rachel), Troy Stewart, Sierra Dawn Stewart, Sadie Jo Stewart, Kira Stewart, Alex Stewart (Molly) and Kyle Stewart; and her siblings, Arthur Waddy, Jr., Clifford Waddy and Grace Waddy. She is also survived by several nieces, nephews and cousins.
