He was predeceased by: his father Wilbert L. Shelby Jr. Sean (Skeets); his stepfather Deacon William C. Coffey; and his grandparents, Wilbert L Shelby Sr., Catherine B. Forrester and Jarretta Grigsby.
He is survived by: his mother Artie Marie Forrester Coffey; his children, Dyshakia Shelby, Summer Shelby, Sean LaMehl Shelby Jr. Ty and Chance Shelby; his siblings, Fred Couto (Camile), Ricky Johnson, Carlos Miller, William Keith Coffey, Tracey Shelby-Patton (Charles), Torsheika Carter, Catherine Coffey and Dorothyanna Coffey; his grandparents, Donald and Ollie Cheaney; his friend Tricia Arvin; and his godparents, Linda Salmon and Gregory Johnson. He is also survived by 4 grandchildren, a host of nieces, nephew, aunts, uncles, cousins, extended family.
