Sharon Austin Obituary
With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Sharon Austin of Evansville, Indiana, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on October 28, 2025 at the age of 85. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Sharon Austin to pay them a last tribute.
She was predeceased by: her parents, O. D. McKendree and Imogene McKendree (Myers); her husband Philip N. Austin; and her sons, Steve Wayne Austin (August) and David Daniel Austin.
She is survived by: her daughters, Debbie Day (Roger) and Phyllis Warren (Greg); her sisters, Hyburnia Shepeard (Phillip) and Octavia Roberts (Jim); her grandchildren, Dwayne Day, Zachary Warren (Joni), Logan Warren (Deanna), Laura Bowman (Will), Austin Warren, Natalie Kline (Brandon) and KayLee Goings (Kody); and her great grandchildren, HuntLeigh, Laken, OakLynn, Sydney, Sadie, Jackson, Lydia and Laddie.
Visitation will be held on Sunday, November 2nd 2025 from 1:00 PM to 3:30 PM at the Washington Avenue Church of Christ (4001 Washington Ave, Evansville, IN 47714). A funeral service will be held on Sunday, November 2nd 2025 at 3:30 PM at the same location. A graveside service will be held on Monday, November 3rd 2025 at 10:00 AM at the Park Lawn Cemetery (1526 S Green River Rd, Evansville, IN 47715).
