It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Shirley May Hager of Evansville, Indiana, born in Providence, Rhode Island, who passed away on April 6, 2024, at the age of 91, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by : her parents, Fredrick Devine and Phoebe Devine (Fratus); and her husband James "Jim" Hager. She is survived by : her daughters, Jennifer Neiswinger (Rick), Jeanine Kissel and Jamie Tinsley (Tracy); her grandchildren, Brad Neiswinger (Chelsea), Matthew Neiswinger (Becca), Christopher Neiswinger, Dillon Coultas, Shelby Hammers (Aaron), Austin Kissel, Melissa Clark (Sam) and Michael Tinsley (Christina); her sisters, Patricia Posilero of Norfolk, Donna Devine of Norfolk and Virginia; and her friend Lee Pirnat (Brian). She is also survived by 10 great-grandchildren.

Visitation was held on Wednesday, April 10th 2024 from 3:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the St. Paul's Episcopal Church (301 SE 1st St, Evansville, IN 47713). A funeral service was held on Thursday, April 11th 2024 at 11:00 AM at the same location.

Memorial contributions may be made to St. Jude Children's Hospital.
