Chappell; his sons, Brandon (Angi) and Jeremy (Tory); his siblings, Sharlyn Buehn, Michael (Rita) and Pat (Barb); his grandchildren, Destini, Tyler and Isla; his aunts and uncles, Freda (Vern Wells), Mae McCloud, Ernest (Anna Batson) and Gary (Pat Chappell); his brother-in-law Harold Buehn; and the mother of his children Lisa Wilke. He was also cherished by many nieces, nephews and cousins.
